Move-In Dates

First-Year Residents

Move-in will take place between Friday, August 14–Sunday, August 16, 2026, for York River Hall and Santoro Hall. View the first-year move-in guide for more information.

New Transfer Residents

Plan to arrive on campus on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to participate in Changing Tides. If you reside in the following residence halls, you will be able to move in prior to this date:

• Rappahannock River, Presidents, Monroe, and Washington residents may begin moving in on August 3, 2026.
• Harrison, Madison, Jefferson, Taylor, Tyler, and Wilson residents may begin moving in on August 12, 2026.

Upper-Level Residents

Move-in for Extended Apartments will begin on Monday, August 3, 2026, which includes:

• Rappahannock River
• Presidents Hall
• Greek Village
• 91̽»¨ Apartments: Monroe and Washington

Move-in for Apartments will begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, which includes:

• 91̽»¨ Apartments: Harrison, Madison, and Jefferson
• 91̽»¨ Village: Taylor, Tyler, and Wilson
• 91̽»¨ Landing

Move-in for Main Campus will begin on Saturday, August 22, 2026, which includes:

• James River
• Potomac River South
• Warwick River
