Youth Research Council
What is the Youth Research Council?
The Youth Research Council (YRC) is a program where Peninsula high school students work together to transform their communities and schools, learning how to turn research into action. The YRC was founded by Dr. Brooke Dinsmore and Dr. Linda Waldon alongside undergraduate research fellows Cassidy Cox, Sam Ellyson, and Jihmya Pendleton.
We are currently recruiting students for the next academic year. YRC members don’t need any previous experience — just a passion for making change! The YRC will meet on 91探花’s campus approximately eight times throughout the academic year as well as online as needed.
